CONCEPT STUDY LEGAN – NAIL GUN
When hammering, it has always been like this: once the nail was stuck in the wall, you had to use pliers to remove it from the wall. The result was often large holes from which the plaster trickled, unsightly little craters scattered all over the wallpaper. The new concept of the nail gun LEGAN is supposed to change this with the help of magnetism.
The concept study was awarded the LUCKY STRIKE DESIGNER AWARD 2009.
NAGING vs. SCREWING
Whoever gets his “Legan” model nailed down hasn’t shot up yet. Just as fast as the nail moves into the wall, it can be pulled out again. Due to its reversibility, nailing can compete with screwing.
A nail is not only cheaper but also faster to use. Since hammering is no longer necessary, nails actually do not need heads anymore. The weight of the tool has been reduced to less than 20 percent of a conventional tool.
The user only bears the weight of the spools and the nails. This allows the craftsman to work longer due to the reduced physical strain.
